Well it's been quite a busy month, and thankfully I've had plenty of time in transit on the tube around London. As promised in my last post in June, my goal is to maintain a monthly sketchbook post. I feel that if I do this then I will keep myself honest and above all, stay curious!

During my first trip to London back in 2005 to study Fine Art, I got into the practice of keeping a sketchbook, as a student on the course, we were required to maintain a regular sketchbook. The book was required to be small enough to fit in our pockets, so we had no excuse for not taking it with us everywhere, and we were required to sketch daily. We were occasionally had to produce the books for random check ups and had to complete at least 1 worked up drawing in the books every week. I've personally found many benefits to the practice and would highly recommend it to any aspiring Artist/Creative out there, for starters, no one really needs to see it, you are free to explore and make mistakes, and the more mistakes the better. ...
