About

A little bit about me

I am a freelance Graphic Designer, who specialises in branding, visual identity and website design. I have had experience working with an array of clients from start-up business to larger companies with work ranging from DTP (Desk Top Publishing), branding, logo design, website design and development to Art direction. To date no project has proven too difficult, only challenging and new.

With a background in print design and an appreciation for good layout and typography, I am also a self taught web designer, who understands the importance of having a website that is functional, adhering to web standards and also presentable. I create Wordpress websites from scratch, implementing the latest technologies where needed and appropriate. As a freelancer I have worked on a diverse range of jobs which have broadened and extended my skill base.

In 2009 I completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the National Art School, Sydney, where I graduated with a Major in Painting, so not only do I consider myself technically minded, but I have the ability to draw, paint and think creatively. I feel that the extra study has helped to bring more depth to my design work and a greater appreciation for both art and design history. I have also had new experiences and instruction that have greatly influenced my understanding of composition and colour theory, directly impacting on my sense of design and approach to visual problems.

If you are interested in employing my services, would like to know more about what I’ve done and where I’ve been, you will find more specific information on the resume page. I have also included is a printable PDF to download.

Location, location, location…

Currently located in Sydney, I operate from my home office in Chatswood. I have also been employed in London and Melbourne, where I have lived and studied for periods of time. I am excited about the prospect of taking on new endeavors this coming year.
