Hello world! – Clean vanilla WordPress Hello world! – Clean vanilla WordPress

the online home of a creative graphic designer

My name is Alexander Stanuga and I’m a self-employed designer from Sydney. I specialise in business branding, logo design and web design.

I love nothing more than searching out and stumbling across great new designers and artists. I have a keen interest in experimenting with traditional techniques, like painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking, whilst also embracing modern technology. Feeling well grounded, having just completed a Bachelor of Fine Art, I continue to explore new ways of incorporating disciplines and techniques of both past and present.

With an interest in the latest technology, I wish to explore new methods in creating great visuals in different communication mediums. As a visual person, I actively seek out opportunities to learn back-end developing techniques, which I now find greatly influence the way I approach a web design.

Stanuga.net has been my portfolio website for the past 5 years, and over that time it has undergone several facelifts, as I continue to learn about web design as a medium. This latest manifestation, is the result of taking up one of the most popular open source CMS/blogging platforms available at the moment, WordPress. Though I consider it technically finished and presentable, I have no doubt things will change, as I continue to explore the possibilities of WordPress.

Kind regards

Alex
